The head has had a rub down of old surface rust and the handle has been lightly sanded & waxed. You will still see the odd age-related wear & marks, all adding to it's character.
The metal collar on the handle has makers stamp "Rudders & Paynes Ltd" "B'Ham No2"
Head is dated & stamped 1985 with the Military crows foot / broad arrow and makers - "BMS".
