Vintage Antique 19th Century Canvas & Leather Steamer Trunk Large Travel Chest Blanket Box

Vintage / Antique Black Canvas & Leather Travel Trunk.

Originally manufactured by James Northam of Exeter - Est. 1836. with it's original label intact.

Made of a hard Rexine canvas, leather stitched edges and corners. The exterior has a lovely aged & distressed look to it, with the lid slightly crushed in from the weight it's carried over the years.

Metal base runners and metal edges under the leather.
Strong and sturdy leather handles.

Measures approximately (L) 85cm x (W) 50cm x (H) 50cm
