A large square area in the base part has potential for a shelf or two. The upper section area could be shuffled around & repositioned to enable a small enclosed workspace., with a flip down keyboard type shelf that can be positioned in most angles.
The original flexible map reading light is still attached but this has not been tested.
All round, a lovely thing to upcycle and create something unique for the home or office!
